Factory Place

Big Dumb Type

The group of buildings that make up Factory Place have been with the Klein family since the early 1980s, becoming an integral part of the wave of creative folks that set up shop in what would become the Arts District. We concepted and oversaw installation of a new signage and wayfinding program for the campus. Oversized graphics painted along the south face of the warehouse acts as address indicator and wayfinding to the popular indoor pistol range, the LA Gun Club. Each tenant is provided with a large painted facade, set in consistent typography. Additionally, custom powder-coated aluminum blade signs were concepted and produced for street/human level frontage.
